1. You must be 18 years or older to use this Service.
2. You must provide your full legal name, a valid email address, and any other information needed in order to complete the booking process.
3. A breach or violation of any of this terms and conditions as determined in the sole discretion will result in an immediate termination of your services.

Payment can be with bank transfer or credit / debit card. The person submitting the booking form accepts responsibility for payment for everyone listed on the booking form and is responsible for ensuring that all other persons listed on the booking form are aware of the terms and conditions.

We provide you with option to make a reservation in advance to secure a spot for you in any of Manawai Surf School programs. Reservation fee is 50€ and will be deducted from the entire program fee.

If the amount due is not paid prior to arrival, your reservation will be cancelled automatically. We do not refund reservation fee.

Please refer to Cancellation policy if you paid the entire program fee in advance and wish to cancel our services for any reason.

We will provide you with receipt upon arrival.

Manawai Surf School will make every effort to arrange any changes requested after the booking has been confirmed, providing it is more than 14 days before the course start date. Any changes are subject to availability of course dates.

If the changes are less than 14 days prior to the course start date you will be responsible for paying the full or part of balance on the original booking.

Please refer to cancellation policy that describes what amount of fee can be refunded or reused to change your booking.

In exceptional and extenuating circumstances we may waiver the above. i.e. bereavement, serious illness.

In case of cancellation on your behalf for whatever reason, money is refunded based on the following timeline principles:

1. Cancellation in up to 14 days before your program start date, entire amount excluding reservation fee.
2. Cancellation in 7 days before your program start date, 60% of total price.
3. Cancellation in 3 days before your program start date, 30% of total price.
4. Cancellation in less than 3 days your program start date, no refund.

Manawai Surf School uses withheld funds to cover costs related to cancellation. If you find someone to fill your spot and they pay the total price of the program, we refund you the entire amount.

Manawai Surf School offers cancellation insurance of a program. The cost of the insurance is 20€. Cancellation insurance includes the option to cancel your participation at any given time, while getting back the total amount paid.

Insurance is valid only with a valid medical report from your doctor.

The activities of surfing carry a degree of risk both to people and property, even if enjoyed under proper supervision by qualified instructors. All participants must make us aware of any medical conditions, illnesses or allergies they may have and any prescribed medication they are taking. No-one should participate in any of Manawai Surf School activities if they are suffering from a heart condition or if they are pregnant.

All participants must be able to swim at least 25 metres and must in no circumstances be under the influence of any alcohol, drugs or medication at the time of the lesson which may adversely affect their physical abilities. All participants must agree to abide to all instructions and decisions that Manawai Surf School and its instructors make. Participants will have the use of Manawai Surf School equipment during their lessons. Whereas Manawai Surf School takes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and good condition of that equipment, participants are responsible for immediately reporting any damage caused to the equipment or which becomes apparent whilst the equipment is in their possession.

Manawai Surf School does not seek to limit or exclude any liability for personal injury or loss of life which may occur as a result of its own negligence or that of its employees, officers or agents, however, Manawai Surf School assumes no liability in respect of any personal injury, loss, damage, consequential loss or third party claims which occur through no fault of its own, its employees, officers or agents. All other liability or conditions implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent possible.

In the rare event that Manawai Surf School considers conditions to be unsuitable for your activity we will make all efforts to reschedule your lesson. Due to high demand there is a slight chance we may not be able to reschedule and in this case a refund will be issued.

The prices printed on this website/form are valid at the time of publication. Manawai Surf School reserves the right to increase or reduce any of these prices any time after publication.
